Christy and I are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. She was born on February 17, 2007. She was 7 lbs. 1oz. She has a full head of dirty blond hair, dark blue eyes (so far), and a very pretty face. We are so happy!!!
So far it has been long nights. It is definitely going to take some adjusting.
So...many of you knew that Adelina was not due till February 22. Christy went to her normal check up on Thursday the 15th and had very high blood pressure. The highest that it reached was 169 over 109. The doctor had Christy go to triage, and they did not let her go home. They decided that she needed to be induced. Things were progressing fine until everything just stopped. Adelina was dropping head down, but in the wrong position. The doctor decided that she needed a cesarean. The rest is history.

She is precious! What a beautiful baby! Congratulations! Hope the adjustment goes well for you guys! I had a similar story with having to have a C-section. Hope you are recovering alright Christy. Congrats again!

Congratulations you two! She is absolutely ADORABLE and I'm so glad she made it here safely!! I can sympathize you on the late nights...trust me, it does get better!
I LOVE the picture of you cuddling with her. Also the one of you holding her while dressed in the scrubs and she is looking up at you. So cute! She has the same button nose my niece Sophia had.
